Key Features
- Genuine OEM Quality — Built to original equipment specifications for the Ford engine application, delivering the dimensional conformity and material grade required for proper cooling system function.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to install in place of the original water pump with no alterations required to mounting points or connections.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with Genie S-60 telescopic boom lifts and Z-60/34 and Z-45/22 articulating boom lifts; verify part number 28666GT against your serial number in the parts manual.
- Cooling System Integrity — A functioning water pump circulates coolant through the engine to maintain operating temperature. A worn or failed pump can lead to overheating and unplanned machine downtime.
- OEM Part Assurance — Sourced directly through authorized Genie OEM supply channels, so you receive the correct part the first time.
The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine's cooling circuit, keeping the engine within its safe operating temperature range during use. When a water pump wears out or fails, coolant flow is reduced or lost entirely, which can cause the engine to overheat and sustain serious damage. Replacing a failing water pump promptly with the correct OEM part restores proper coolant circulation and protects the engine on your Genie boom lift.
