The Genie 231232GT is a genuine OEM Radiator Fan, 7-Blade, D-1105 built for Genie S-60 J telescopic boom lifts and Z-34/22 IC and Z-34 IC articulating boom lifts. As a direct OEM replacement, this fan is engineered to match the original component exactly, ensuring correct airflow and cooling performance for the D-1105 engine. Cross-reference part number 231232GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the correct fan for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Genie's original specifications, with correct blade count, pitch, and hub dimensions for the D-1105 engine installation.
- Direct OEM Replacement — Designed to install in place of the original fan with no modification, restoring the engine cooling circuit to its designed operating condition.
- Broad Boom Lift Fitment — Compatible with the Genie S-60 J telescopic boom and Z-34/22 IC and Z-34 IC articulating booms; confirm fitment via your parts manual.
- Cooling Performance Restored — A correctly functioning 7-blade fan moves the airflow volume the D-1105 engine requires; a worn, cracked, or missing fan blade reduces cooling efficiency and can lead to engine overheating.
- Operational Safety — Maintaining proper engine cooling on aerial boom lifts is critical to sustained, safe operation at height; replacing a damaged fan promptly keeps the machine running within its designed thermal limits.
A radiator fan draws air through the radiator to dissipate heat from the engine coolant, keeping the engine within its safe operating temperature range. On powered boom lifts like the S-60 J and Z-34 IC series, consistent engine cooling is essential for sustained operation, particularly in warm conditions or during extended duty cycles. A fan with broken, bent, or missing blades moves less air, reduces cooling capacity, and can cause the engine to overheat — making timely replacement with the correct OEM part a straightforward way to protect the engine and keep the machine operational.
