The Genie 85027GT is a genuine OEM Radiator Baffle (Deutz) built for the TML-4000N light tower. Sourced directly from Genie, this part meets the exact specifications of the original component it replaces. As a genuine OEM part, it is the correct choice for keeping the TML-4000N running as it was designed, with no guesswork on fit or compatibility.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the original dimensional and material specifications for the TML-4000N Deutz-powered light tower, ensuring a correct, lasting installation.
- Direct OEM Replacement — this part replaces the original baffle without modification, fitting the existing mounting points on the TML-4000N as designed.
- Deutz Engine Compatibility — Specifically matched to the Deutz engine configuration used in the TML-4000N, so the baffle seats and seals correctly within the cooling enclosure.
- Cooling System Integrity — A properly fitted radiator baffle directs airflow across the radiator core as intended. A damaged or missing baffle allows air to bypass the radiator, reducing cooling efficiency and raising engine operating temperatures.
- Verified Fitment — Confirmed for the TML-4000N light tower. Cross-reference part number 85027GT against your machine's parts manual before ordering to be certain this is the correct baffle for your unit.
A radiator baffle channels incoming airflow directly through the radiator core rather than allowing it to escape around the sides of the cooling assembly. On a light tower like the TML-4000N, where the engine and radiator operate within a compact enclosure, the baffle plays a key role in maintaining the airflow path that keeps coolant temperatures within the correct operating range. When a baffle cracks, warps, or goes missing entirely, the engine loses the directed airflow it depends on, which can lead to elevated temperatures and reduced service intervals over time. Replacing a damaged baffle with the correct OEM part restores the designed airflow pattern and protects the engine from unnecessary heat stress.
