The Genie 81424GT is a genuine OEM Upper Radiator Hose, GM, built for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift. As a direct OEM replacement, this hose is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part, ensuring a correct, trouble-free installation. Cross-reference part number 81424GT against your Z-80/60 parts manual to confirm it is the right hose for your machine's GM engine configuration before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Produced to Genie OEM material and dimensional standards, matching the hose wall thickness, inner diameter, and coolant-compatible compound of the original part.
- Direct Replacement Fit — Engineered to connect to the same ports as the original upper radiator hose, requiring no trimming or adaptation for installation.
- GM Engine Compatibility — Specified for the GM engine variant of the Z-80/60, ensuring the hose routes and seats correctly for that powertrain configuration.
- Cooling System Integrity — A sound upper radiator hose maintains proper coolant flow between the engine and radiator. A cracked, collapsed, or weeping hose restricts circulation and can lead to engine overheating and unplanned machine downtime.
- Verified Fitment for Z-80/60 — Sourced directly for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom, so you can order with confidence that this is the correct OEM-specified part for your machine.
The upper radiator hose carries coolant from the engine to the radiator, where heat is transferred away from the coolant before it returns to the engine. On machines like the Z-80/60, which operates in demanding outdoor environments, this hose is subject to heat cycling, vibration, and pressure over time. A hose that has hardened, cracked, or begun to weep coolant should be replaced promptly — running the engine with insufficient coolant flow risks overheating and serious engine damage. Replacing it with a genuine Genie OEM part ensures the correct fit, routing, and material durability for continued reliable operation.
