The Genie 236351GT Skylight Wiper/Washer Switch is a genuine OEM switch designed for Genie GTH-636, GTH-844, GTH-1056, and GTH-1256 telehandlers. As a genuine OEM component, this switch is built to the same specification as the part originally installed at the factory, ensuring correct function and a direct fit. Cross-reference part number 236351GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the correct switch for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Specification — Manufactured to the original electrical and dimensional spec, ensuring the switch operates with the correct actuation force and output signal for the skylight wiper and washer circuit.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — Matches the original mounting configuration and connector interface, allowing straightforward installation without alteration.
- Confirmed Fitment — Fits Genie GTH-636, GTH-844, GTH-1056, and GTH-1256 telehandlers. Always verify against your serial number and parts manual.
- Operator Visibility Restored — A functioning skylight wiper/washer switch keeps the overhead glazing clear, maintaining the operator's upward sightlines during lifts and load placements in wet or dusty conditions.
- Operational Safety — Clear visibility through the cab skylight is critical when positioning loads overhead. Replacing a faulty switch restores full control of the wiper and washer system, supporting safe operation.
The skylight wiper/washer switch controls the operator's ability to activate the overhead wiper and washer system fitted to the telehandler cab. When the switch fails or becomes unresponsive, the operator loses the ability to clear rain, dust, or debris from the skylight glazing, which can compromise upward visibility during load handling. Replacing the switch with the correct OEM part restores full cab-control function and keeps the machine operating safely in variable weather conditions.
