As a genuine OEM part, it is manufactured to the exact specifications of the original component, ensuring a correct fit and proper exhaust routing on compatible units. Sourced directly through Genie's OEM supply chain, part number T110447GT is the correct replacement to specify when servicing these light towers.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to Genie's original specifications, with materials and dimensions matched to the factory exhaust assembly on AL5 series light towers.
- Exact-Fit Replacement — Engineered to install directly in place of the original tailpipe, maintaining correct exhaust outlet positioning on the top of the unit.
- Broad AL5 Series Compatibility — Fits AL5000, AL5HT, AL5, and AL5 with Vertical Mast Genie light towers, covering the core AL5 product family.
- Exhaust Integrity — A sound tailpipe routes exhaust gases away from the machine and surrounding personnel; a damaged or corroded pipe compromises this and should be replaced promptly.
- Operational Safety — Proper exhaust routing on a generator-powered light tower is critical for safe jobsite operation, making correct OEM specification especially important for this component.
The tailpipe is the final section of the exhaust system, directing combustion gases from the engine out of the machine. On the AL5 series, this top-exit tailpipe routes exhaust upward and away from the unit and the surrounding work area. When the tailpipe cracks, corrodes, or separates, exhaust gases can vent in unintended directions, creating a hazard for nearby personnel and potentially affecting engine back-pressure. Replacing a worn or damaged tailpipe with the correct OEM part restores proper exhaust flow and keeps the machine operating as designed.
