Key Features
- Genuine OEM Quality — Manufactured to Genie's original specifications, delivering the dimensional conformity and material grade required for correct installation and lasting service.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered to seat and connect exactly as the original, with no adaptation needed to install on the Z-60/34.
- Confirmed Fitment — Designed specifically for the Genie Z-60/34 articulating boom lift; verify part number 119551GT against your parts manual before ordering.
- Engine Temperature Regulation — A properly functioning thermostat keeps the engine operating within its correct temperature range, protecting against overheating and cold-running damage that can shorten engine life.
- Protects Engine Longevity — A failed or stuck thermostat causes the engine to run too hot or too cold, leading to accelerated wear and potential breakdowns in the field; replacing it promptly with the correct OEM part keeps the engine operating as intended.
A thermostat regulates engine coolant flow to maintain the engine within its designed operating temperature range. When the engine is cold, the thermostat stays closed, allowing the engine to warm up quickly; once operating temperature is reached, it opens to allow coolant to circulate and carry heat away. A thermostat that sticks closed causes overheating, while one that sticks open prevents the engine from reaching the temperature needed for efficient operation. Replacing a faulty thermostat with the correct Genie OEM part restores proper engine temperature control on the Z-60/34.
