In this video, we'll show you how to change the drive belt on your Husqvarna power cutter. To show you this, we will use the Husqvarna K970.

Use your combination tool to loosen the adjuster screw and relieve tension on the belt. Then, release the two bar bolts.

This will let you remove the front belt guard.

Remove the two screws that keep the rear belt guard in place. Remove the belt guard to access the drive belt and replace it.

Once replaced, you can continue the assembly in reversed order.

Always use genuine Husqvarna spare parts. If parts from a third party are used, the warranty no longer applies.

Slide on the front belt cover. Tighten the two bolts loosely.

And then adjust the belt tensioning with a combination tool. Make sure that the bolt is in the right position between the arrows.
