The Wacker Neuson 5200023254 Rear Roof Insulator is a genuine OEM component designed for the G70, G100, G120, G130, and G150 series portable generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this insulator is sourced and manufactured to the same standards as the part originally installed on your machine, ensuring correct fitment across a wide range of G-series configurations including standard, cold weather, custom, and Tier 4 variants. Fitment spans both skid-mounted and mobile generator setups, making this a versatile service part for fleets running multiple G-series units. Confirm your machine's model number before ordering to ensure compatibility with your specific configuration.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Thermal Integrity — Manufactured to the same material and dimensional spec as the original, ensuring the insulator performs its full heat and sound attenuation role within the generator enclosure.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Designed to mount in the rear roof position of the G-series enclosure, aligning with existing fastener points for a straightforward swap during service.
- Broad G-Series Compatibility — Confirmed fit across G70, G100, G120, G130, and G150 generators, including standard, cold weather, custom, Tier 3, and Tier 4/T4i configurations.
- Enclosure Protection — A properly functioning roof insulator shields internal generator components from radiated heat buildup and external temperature extremes, which is especially critical in cold weather and continuous-duty applications.
- Verified OEM Part Number — Part number 5200023254 is the authoritative Wacker Neuson reference for this insulator position, reducing the risk of ordering an incorrect fitment.
The rear roof insulator sits inside the generator's protective enclosure canopy and serves as a thermal and acoustic barrier between the engine/alternator assembly and the outer shell. It limits heat transfer through the enclosure roof, helping maintain safe operating temperatures for internal components while also dampening operational noise. When this insulator degrades, becomes saturated, or is damaged, thermal management inside the enclosure is compromised — leading to elevated component temperatures and reduced service life of nearby electrical and mechanical parts.
