Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction: — Manufactured to Wacker Neuson's original tolerances, so the guide seats and aligns the oil gauge exactly as intended — no guesswork on fitment or material grade.
- Drop-In Compatibility: — Engineered to match the original mounting points on the HIF 690, allowing the gauge to install cleanly without modification to the housing or fittings.
- HIF 690 Series Coverage: — Confirmed fitment across the HIF 690 Flameless Air Heater lineup, including the standard diesel unit and the Kubota engine variant.
- Accurate Oil Level Monitoring: — A correctly installed oil gauge guide keeps the dipstick or gauge element properly positioned, so oil level readings are accurate and the engine is protected from undetected low-oil conditions.
- Direct Source, Verified Part Number: — Part number 5100028233 is cross-referenced against Wacker Neuson's parts catalog, giving you confidence you are ordering the exact component for your machine.
The oil gauge guide is the housing or retaining sleeve that holds the oil level gauge in its correct position within the engine or oil reservoir. By keeping the gauge aligned and sealed against its bore, it ensures that oil level readings reflect actual fluid levels rather than a false reading caused by a loose or misaligned dipstick assembly. When the guide is cracked, worn, or missing, oil can escape around the opening and the gauge may seat inconsistently, leading to inaccurate readings that can put the engine at risk of running low on oil without any visible warning.
