The Honda 17510-Z03-000ZC Fuel Tank (Power Red) is a genuine OEM replacement built for EB2500, EB3000, EM2500, and EM3000 generators. As a direct Honda OEM component, this fuel tank is manufactured to the same standards as the original, ensuring a correct fit and proper sealing within the generator's fuel system. The Power Red color designation identifies this specific variant — confirm this matches the original tank on your unit before ordering, as color-coded versions can vary by production run. Verify your generator's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right tank for your machine.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this fuel tank meets the same specifications as the tank that left the factory with your generator, ensuring correct capacity and mounting geometry.
- Color-Coded Variant — the Power Red designation identifies this specific version; match it to the original tank on your EB2500, EB3000, EM2500, or EM3000 to ensure you are ordering the correct replacement.
- Broad Generator Compatibility — fits EB2500, EB3000, EM2500, and EM3000 Honda generators, covering a wide range of Honda's conventional generator lineup.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates components at production breaks, so cross-check your generator's serial number against the fitment table before finalizing your order.
The fuel tank stores the gasoline supply that feeds the generator's engine, maintaining a reservoir that gravity- or vacuum-feeds the carburetor during operation. A cracked, leaking, or deteriorated tank compromises fuel delivery and creates a safety hazard, making timely replacement essential to keeping your EB2500, EB3000, EM2500, or EM3000 generator running cleanly and reliably. Replacing a damaged tank with a genuine OEM part under part number 17510-Z03-000ZC restores the fuel system to its original configuration.
