The Honda 17510-ZE3-030ZB Fuel Tank (Black) is a genuine OEM replacement built for EN3500 and EN5000 generators and GX340, GX390, GX610, and GX620 horizontal shaft engines. As a direct Honda OEM component, this fuel tank is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct fit with existing fuel lines, mounting hardware, and caps. Confirm the part number 17510-ZE3-030ZB against your machine's serial number before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at specific serial breaks and more than one tank variant may apply to your model.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this tank is identical to the original unit your engine or generator left the factory with, so fuel capacity and mounting geometry match exactly.
- Correct Color Variant — finished in black; confirm this color matches your original tank before ordering, as Honda lists this model in more than one color variant.
- Broad Fitment — designed for EN3500 and EN5000 generators and GX340, GX390, GX610, and GX620 horizontal shaft engines; always verify against your serial number to confirm this is the correct tank for your specific unit.
- Fuel Integrity — a cracked, warped, or leaking fuel tank starves the engine of a steady fuel supply and creates a hazard; replacing it with the correct OEM tank restores dependable fuel delivery and a proper seal at every connection point.
The fuel tank is the primary reservoir that stores gasoline and feeds it to the carburetor, keeping the engine or generator running at a consistent fuel level under load. It is molded to fit the specific geometry of the engine or generator frame, with precisely positioned fittings for the fuel petcock, fuel line, and mounting brackets. When the tank cracks, warps, or develops a leak, fuel delivery becomes erratic and the engine may run lean, surge, or shut down entirely — making a like-for-like OEM replacement the straightforward fix.
