The Honda 18331-Z22-000 Exhaust Pipe is a genuine OEM component designed for EB3800, EB5000, EB6500, EM3800, EM5000, and EM6500 generators. As a direct OEM replacement, this exhaust pipe is manufactured to the same standards as the original part, ensuring a correct fit without the guesswork that comes with non-OEM alternatives. Honda supersedes parts across serial number ranges, so verify your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to confirm part number 18331-Z22-000 is the right match for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Exhaust Routing — sourced directly from Honda, this pipe meets the same dimensional and material requirements as the part it replaces, ensuring proper exhaust gas flow out of your generator.
- Broad Generator Coverage — fits EB3800, EB5000, EB6500, EM3800, EM5000, and EM6500 Honda generators, including both the EB and EM lines in this power class.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates exhaust components at production breaks, so confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table to ensure this is the correct pipe for your machine.
- Restored Exhaust Integrity — a cracked or failed exhaust pipe allows hot gases to escape at unintended points, creating heat and noise issues; replacing it with this OEM part restores proper exhaust routing and sound levels.
The exhaust pipe channels combustion gases from the engine's exhaust port away from the generator and out to the atmosphere. It forms a critical link in the exhaust system, directing hot gases safely away from the machine's housing and the operator. When an exhaust pipe cracks, corrodes, or separates at a joint, exhaust gases can escape in the wrong direction — increasing heat buildup around the generator, raising noise levels, and potentially exposing the operator to fumes. Replacing a damaged pipe with a genuine OEM part restores the exhaust path to its original routing and keeps the generator operating as designed.
