The Honda 18331-Z30-000 Exhaust Pipe is a genuine OEM replacement built for Honda EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EG5000, EG6500, EM4000, EM5000, and EM6500 generators. As a direct OEM component, it is manufactured to the exact specifications of the original part, ensuring a proper fit within the exhaust system. Honda supersedes parts across serial number ranges, so confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to make sure part number 18331-Z30-000 is the correct match for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Exhaust Component — sourced directly from Honda, this Exhaust Pipe matches the original in dimensions and routing, so installation follows the same path as the part it replaces.
- Broad Generator Compatibility — fits the EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EG5000, EG6500, EM4000, EM5000, and EM6500 generator lines, covering a wide range of Honda's conventional generator lineup.
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates parts at production breaks, so cross-check your generator's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right exhaust pipe for your specific unit.
- Restored Exhaust Flow — a cracked, corroded, or leaking exhaust pipe allows exhaust gases to escape before they exit safely, creating noise, fumes, and the risk of heat damage to nearby components. Replacing it restores proper exhaust routing and protects the surrounding equipment.
The exhaust pipe routes combustion gases away from the engine and out of the generator housing. It is the primary conduit between the engine's exhaust port and the outlet point, directing hot gases safely away from the machine and the operator. When the exhaust pipe develops cracks, holes, or joint failures, exhaust gases leak into the generator enclosure, increasing noise levels and exposing nearby components to heat and carbon buildup — both of which accelerate wear and compromise safe operation.
