Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this Upper Cover matches the original in form and function, eliminating the guesswork of aftermarket fitment
- Broad Generator Compatibility — built for Honda EB12, EM3500, EM5000, EMS4000, EMS4500, ES3500, ES4500, EX3300, EX4500, and EX5500 generators, covering a wide range of Honda's conventional generator lineup
- Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates cover designs at production breaks, so cross-check your unit's serial number against the compatibility table to confirm this is the right cover for your generator
- Protects Internal Components — a properly fitted upper cover shields the generator's internal components from environmental exposure, keeping the unit running cleanly in field conditions
The Upper Cover is an exterior housing panel that sits over the top of the generator, enclosing and protecting the internal components beneath it. It shields the alternator assembly, wiring, and related hardware from dust, debris, and incidental contact during operation and transport. When the cover is cracked, broken, or missing, internal components are left exposed to the elements and to accidental damage — replacing it promptly restores the integrity of the enclosure and keeps the generator operating as intended.
