Honda 61315-8A4-N20ZA Housing Upper (Vintage Gray Solid)

The Honda 61315-8A4-N20ZA Housing Upper (Vintage Gray Solid) is a genuine OEM component designed for HRC216 and HRX217 lawn mowers. As an authentic Honda part, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct fit against the mower's body panels and internal mounting points. This Vintage Gray Solid color variant is specific to certain production runs, so confirm your mower's color and model against the fitment table before ordering. Buyers should also verify their serial number, as Honda supersedes housing parts at serial breaks and the correct version depends on where your unit falls in the production range.

Key Features

• Genuine OEM Construction — sourced directly from Honda, this housing matches the original in profile, color designation, and attachment geometry, so it integrates cleanly with surrounding panels and hardware.
• Vintage Gray Solid Color Match — the Vintage Gray Solid finish is a specific variant; two listings may cover the same mower models with different color designations, so match this qualifier to your own unit before purchasing.
• Fits HRC216 and HRX217 Lawn Mowers — designed for both the HRC216 commercial walk-behind and the HRX217 heavy-duty residential mower, covering a wide range of serial ranges within each model.
• Serial Number Verification Recommended — Honda updates housing parts across production runs, so cross-check your mower's serial number against the fitment table to confirm this is the right version for your machine.

The upper housing forms the structural outer shell of the mower's deck and body assembly, enclosing and protecting the internal components while giving the machine its profile and finish. On HRC216 and HRX217 mowers, it serves as a primary body panel that ties surrounding covers and guards together. When the upper housing is cracked, faded, or damaged, it can compromise the fit of adjacent panels and detract from the machine's structural integrity — replacing it with a genuine Honda part restores the original assembly as intended.
