The Honda 81109-758-010 Left Seat Hinge (Upper) is a genuine OEM replacement designed for H4013, H4514, and H4518 lawn tractors. As a direct Honda OEM component, this hinge is made to the same specification as the original part it replaces, ensuring a proper fit without improvisation or adaptation. Honda supersedes parts at serial breaks, so confirm your tractor's serial number against the fitment table before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this hinge matches the original component exactly, so the seat operates and secures as it did from the factory.
- Upper Left Seat Position — this is the upper hinge on the left side of the seat assembly; confirm the specific hinge location on your machine before ordering to ensure you receive the correct piece.
- Fits H4013, H4514 and H4518 Lawn Tractors — verified fitment across these three Honda lawn tractor models; cross-reference part number 81109-758-010 with your parts diagram for confidence.
- Serial Number Matters — Honda updates and supersedes hinge components at production serial breaks, so check your tractor's serial number against the compatibility table to confirm this is the right part for your unit.
The upper seat hinge is the pivot point that allows the tractor's seat to tilt or fold forward, providing access to components beneath the seat while keeping the seat stable and properly positioned during operation. On Honda lawn tractors, the left and right upper hinges work together to support the seat and distribute load evenly across the mounting points. When a hinge cracks, corrodes, or loses its pivot action, the seat can shift, bind, or fail to lock into position, creating an uncomfortable and potentially unsafe operating condition. Replacing a worn hinge restores the seat's full range of motion and keeps it firmly in place during use.
