The Honda 81340-VA3-J00 Lower Bag Frame is a genuine OEM replacement designed for HR195 and HR215 lawn mowers. As a direct OEM part sourced from Honda, it is manufactured to the same standards as the original component your mower left the factory with, ensuring a proper fit within the grass catcher assembly. This part is built for HR195 and HR215 mowers, so verify your model and serial number against the fitment table before ordering to confirm this is the correct frame for your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Construction — manufactured by Honda to the same specifications as the original, so the grass catcher assembly sits and operates exactly as intended
- Structural Integrity for the Bag System — the lower frame provides the foundational support that keeps the collection bag properly shaped and correctly positioned during operation; a cracked or deformed frame causes the bag to sag, seal poorly, and reduce clipping capacity
- Confirmed Fitment — designed for HR195 and HR215 lawn mowers; check your serial number against the fitment table, as Honda updates part numbers at production breaks
The lower bag frame forms the structural base of the grass catcher system on HR195 and HR215 lawn mowers. It holds the collection bag in its correct shape and position so clippings fill the bag evenly and the bag seals properly against the mower deck. When this frame cracks, bends, or breaks, the bag loses its shape, clippings escape, and the catcher may no longer attach or release cleanly — replacing it restores the collection system to full working order.
