The Honda 81341-VA3-J00 Grass Bag Joint is a genuine OEM replacement designed for HR195, HR215, HRA215, HRC215, and HRC216 lawn mowers. Sourced directly from Honda, this part delivers the exact fit and function the original was built to. It is compatible across the full HR-series lineup listed above — confirm your mower's model before ordering, as Honda supersedes parts at production breaks and the fitment table lists the specific serial ranges that apply to your unit.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — manufactured to the same specification as the original, ensuring the grass bag connects and seats the way Honda intended on these HR-series mowers.
- Broad HR-Series Coverage — fits HR195, HR215, HRA215, HRC215, and HRC216 lawn mowers; check your model and serial number against the fitment table to confirm the correct version for your unit.
- Restore Clipping Capture — a worn or damaged grass bag joint allows clippings to escape before reaching the bag, reducing collection efficiency; replacing this part brings the system back to full function.
- Direct Drop-In Replacement — matches the mounting geometry of the original joint, so installation requires no rework or adaptation.
The grass bag joint is the connecting piece between the mower's discharge chute and the grass collection bag. It channels cut clippings from the deck into the bag and forms the sealed interface that keeps clippings moving in the right direction rather than escaping out the sides. When the joint cracks, breaks, or deforms, the connection between the chute and the bag becomes loose or gapped, and clippings scatter instead of collecting — reducing the bag's effectiveness and leaving debris on the lawn. Replacing a damaged joint with a correct-fitting OEM part restores the tight, properly aligned connection the collection system needs to work as designed.
