The Genie 1261204GT Lower Radiator Rubber Hose Coupling is a genuine OEM cooling system component built for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift. As a direct OEM replacement, it is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part, ensuring a correct, secure fit on the lower radiator connection. Cross-reference part number 1261204GT against your machine's parts manual to confirm it is the right component for your unit before ordering.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Quality — Manufactured to original Genie specifications with radiator-grade rubber that maintains flexibility and sealing integrity across operating temperatures.
- Direct Fit Replacement — Designed as a drop-in replacement for the lower radiator hose coupling on the Z-80/60, connecting to existing fittings without adaptation.
- Correct Fitment for Z-80/60 — Verified for the Genie Z-80/60 articulating boom lift, so you can order with confidence for that specific machine.
- Coolant System Integrity — A sound coupling maintains proper coolant flow through the radiator circuit; a cracked or swollen coupling causes coolant loss and can lead to engine overheating.
- Operational Safety — Maintaining a leak-free cooling system is essential to keeping the machine running safely on site — OEM-spec materials resist degradation longer than generic substitutes.
A lower radiator hose coupling connects the bottom of the radiator to the engine's coolant return line, sealing the junction and allowing coolant to circulate through the cooling system. The rubber construction accommodates minor vibration and thermal expansion between the engine and radiator. When this coupling cracks, hardens, or begins to weep coolant, the engine is at risk of overheating — replacing it promptly with a correct OEM part restores a reliable, leak-free seal.
