The Multiquip 00325 Smokeless 2-Stroke Oil is a genuine OEM 2-stroke engine oil designed for Multiquip and STOW handheld cut-off saw models including the HS62, HS62A, HS81, HS81A, SHS81A, and SHS62A. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this oil is the manufacturer-specified choice for keeping the 2-stroke engines in these high-speed sidewinder saws properly lubricated and running clean. Its low-smoke formula keeps the work environment cleaner compared to conventional 2-stroke oils, making it well suited for confined or enclosed cutting applications. If you run any of the HS or SHS series cut-off saws, 00325 is the correct oil to keep on hand for every mix.
Key Features
- Low-Emission Formula — Smokeless 2-stroke formulation significantly reduces visible exhaust smoke during operation, improving air quality for the operator.
- Genuine OEM Specification — Formulated to the exact lubrication requirements of Multiquip 2-stroke cut-off saw engines, ensuring the correct oil-to-fuel ratio performance.
- Broad HS and SHS Series Compatibility — Verified fit for HS62, HS62A, HS81, HS81A, SHS81A, and SHS62A sidewinder cut-off saws.
- Engine Protection Under High RPM Loads — Engineered to lubricate 2-stroke internals during the sustained high-speed operation that cut-off saws demand, helping prevent scoring and seizure.
- Fuel System Safe — Compatible with the carburetor and fuel system components used across the HS and SHS saw families, reducing the risk of deposits or gumming.
A 2-stroke engine relies on oil mixed directly into the fuel to lubricate its internal moving parts, since it has no separate oil reservoir like a 4-stroke engine. Using the correct oil at the right mixture ratio is critical — too little lubrication causes rapid internal wear and can lead to engine seizure, while the wrong oil type can leave harmful carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and exhaust port. The smokeless formulation of Multiquip 00325 is engineered specifically to burn more completely than conventional 2-stroke oils, reducing fouling and keeping the engine performing at its best over time.
