The Multiquip 0040106000 is a genuine OEM Washer M6 designed for Multiquip G-2.9R, GA-2.9R, and GB114BW series equipment. As a factory-sourced component, it meets the exact material and dimensional standards specified for these machines. This washer is a direct fit for confirmed fitment models including the G-2.9R portable AC generator, GA-2.9R portable generator, and GB114BW GloBug lighting unit. Keeping the correct hardware on hand ensures reassembly goes smoothly and fastened components stay properly seated.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Hardware Grade — Manufactured to the exact M6 specification required by Multiquip, ensuring correct load distribution and clamping force at every fastened joint.
- Direct-Fit Installation — Sized and stamped to drop straight onto M6 fastener assemblies in these machines without rework or modification to mating hardware.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with Multiquip G-2.9R, GA-2.9R, and GB114BW equipment series.
- Protects Mating Surfaces — Distributes fastener load evenly across the contact surface, helping prevent surface damage, loosening, and fastener pull-through over time.
- Electrical Safety Compliance — On generator and lighting equipment, correctly rated hardware like this washer maintains the structural and grounding integrity of bolted connections, which is critical for safe electrical operation.
A washer serves as a load-spreading interface between a fastener — such as a bolt or nut — and the surface it clamps against. By distributing clamping force over a wider area, it reduces the risk of surface deformation, prevents fastener loosening under vibration, and protects softer or coated materials from direct contact with the fastener head. On portable generators and lighting equipment like the G-2.9R, GA-2.9R, and GB114BW, where vibration is constant during operation, using the correct washer at every fastened point is essential to maintaining structural integrity and safe, consistent performance. A missing or incorrect washer can lead to loosened connections, damaged housings, or compromised grounding paths in electrical assemblies.
