The Multiquip 0803802027 Terminal Cap SAA6D125E-5 is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA-300SSK4 ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this cap delivers an exact fit to the SAA6D125E-5 engine's terminal connection point, ensuring the electrical interface is properly covered and protected. If you're servicing a DCA-300SSK4 and need to restore the terminal assembly to its original condition, part number 0803802027 is the correct OEM replacement.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Electrical Protection — Manufactured to Multiquip's exacting standards for terminal cap insulation and dielectric integrity, ensuring the connection point performs as the original design intended.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Engineered specifically for the SAA6D125E-5 engine terminal configuration, allowing straightforward installation without fitment guesswork.
- Confirmed Compatibility — Fits the DCA-300SSK4 ultra-silent generator powered by the Komatsu SAA6D125E-5 diesel engine.
- Maintains Electrical Integrity — A correctly seated terminal cap protects the connection from moisture, debris, and incidental contact, supporting consistent generator output and preventing electrical faults.
- Electrical Safety Compliance — On high-output diesel generators, properly insulated terminal caps are a critical safeguard against short circuits and unintended contact with live terminals during service.
A terminal cap covers and insulates an exposed electrical terminal on the engine, sealing it against moisture ingress, dust, and accidental contact. On high-capacity machines like the DCA-300SSK4, maintaining the integrity of every terminal connection is essential to stable power output and safe operation. A missing, cracked, or deteriorated cap leaves the terminal vulnerable to corrosion and short-circuit risk, which can disrupt generator performance and create a hazard during routine maintenance.
