The Multiquip 0803804030 is a genuine OEM Terminal Cap SAA6D125E-5 designed for the DCA-300SSK4 ultra-silent diesel generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this part matches the original component installed at the factory, ensuring a correct connection every time. It is confirmed compatible with the DCA-300SSK4 and its SAA6D125E-5 engine assembly.
Key Features
- Genuine OEM Electrical Integrity — Manufactured to the exact material and dimensional specifications required for a secure, corrosion-resistant terminal connection on the SAA6D125E-5 engine.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Designed to seat and secure exactly as the original, allowing straightforward installation without modification to existing terminal hardware.
- Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with the Multiquip DCA-300SSK4 ultra-silent generator equipped with the SAA6D125E-5 diesel engine.
- Protects Electrical Connections — A properly seated terminal cap shields live contacts from moisture, debris, and vibration — all of which are common causes of intermittent faults and electrical failure in generator environments.
- Electrical Safety Compliance — Covering exposed terminals is a critical safety measure on high-output diesel generators; using the correct OEM cap ensures the connection is fully insulated and meets original design intent.
A terminal cap is a protective cover fitted over an electrical terminal or connector post to insulate the contact point from accidental touch, moisture ingress, and environmental contamination. On a high-output generator like the DCA-300SSK4, exposed or poorly protected terminals can cause short circuits, arcing, or corrosion that leads to voltage irregularities and generator shutdown. Replacing a missing, cracked, or degraded terminal cap promptly keeps electrical connections sealed and the generator operating safely at full output.
