Key Features

• Genuine OEM Construction — Manufactured to the same tolerances and material specs as the original, ensuring the gear train remains properly enclosed and protected against contamination.
• Direct Drop-In Installation — Matches the original bolt pattern and housing geometry of the DCA series engine block, allowing straightforward removal and reinstallation without modification.
• Confirmed Fitment — Compatible with DCA40SSAI, DCA60SSAI, DCA60SSI2, and DCA40SSI ultra-silent diesel generators.
• Engine Timing Integrity — A correctly sealed gear case keeps timing components aligned and shielded from debris and oil contamination, preserving engine output and fuel efficiency under continuous load.
• Oil Containment Compliance — The gear case forms a critical sealing boundary in the lubrication circuit; a cracked or worn case can cause oil loss and pose a risk of engine damage or fire in generator applications.

The timing gear case encloses the engine's timing gear assembly, protecting the gears that synchronize the crankshaft and camshaft rotation. By housing these components in a sealed environment, the case retains lubricating oil around the gear train and prevents outside contaminants from disrupting valve and injection timing. When the case is cracked, warped, or leaking, oil loss accelerates gear wear and can cause the engine to run out of time — leading to rough operation, loss of power output, or complete engine failure.
