The Multiquip 5113110282 Timing Gear Case is a genuine OEM component designed for DCA25SSI, DCA25SSIU, DCA25SSI2, DCA25SSAI, and DCA25SSIU-GEER ultra-silent diesel generators. As a direct factory replacement, this part matches the original specification for correct gear train enclosure and alignment. Sourcing the exact OEM part ensures the timing system operates as engineered, maintaining the output consistency and engine protection these generators are built to deliver.
Key Features
- OEM-Grade Housing Integrity — Manufactured to the original dimensional tolerances required to properly enclose and align the timing gear train in DCA-series ultra-silent generators.
- Direct Factory Replacement — Replaces the original case without modification, reinstalling into the existing mounting points exactly as the factory unit did.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for DCA25SSI, DCA25SSIU, DCA25SSI2, DCA25SSAI, and DCA25SSIU-GEER ultra-silent diesel generator models.
- Protects Timing Gear Train — Properly shields the gear assembly from contamination and mechanical damage, preserving valve timing accuracy and engine longevity.
- Correct Sealing Surface — The case provides the mating surface for gaskets and seals in the timing cavity; a warped or cracked original case risks oil leaks and timing gear exposure.
The timing gear case encloses the gear set that synchronizes the crankshaft and camshaft, ensuring valves open and close at precisely the right moment in the engine's combustion cycle. A structurally sound case keeps contaminants out and maintains the correct oil environment around the gears. When the case is cracked, warped, or damaged, it can allow oil loss and gear exposure — leading to accelerated wear, loss of timing accuracy, and potential engine failure.
