The Multiquip 5117401220 Air Breather Assembly is a genuine OEM component designed for the DCA60SSAI diesel-powered generator. Sourced directly from Multiquip, this assembly ensures an exact, drop-in fit with no guesswork on compatibility. It is the same assembly installed at the factory, making it the correct choice for operators who need a dependable, specification-matched replacement for their DCA60SSAI unit.
Key Features
- OEM Filtration Integrity — Engineered to the same airflow and filtration specifications as the original, ensuring the engine receives clean, properly regulated air during operation.
- Direct-Fit Replacement — Mounts to the same connection points as the factory assembly on the DCA60SSAI, allowing for straightforward installation without modifications.
- Confirmed Fitment — Verified for use on the Multiquip DCA60SSAI ultra-silent diesel generator series.
- Engine Protection — A properly functioning air breather assembly prevents contaminants and crankcase pressure buildup from compromising internal engine components, extending service life.
- Genuine Multiquip OEM Quality — Backed by Multiquip's OEM standards, this assembly is built to the same material and performance requirements as the part it replaces.
The air breather assembly serves as the engine's first line of defense against airborne contaminants and excessive crankcase pressure. It filters incoming air to prevent dust, debris, and moisture from entering the engine's internal components, while also venting crankcase gases to maintain proper pressure balance. When this assembly becomes clogged or damaged, oil consumption can increase, engine performance may degrade, and internal wear accelerates — making timely replacement critical to keeping your generator running at full output.
