The Honda 31512-ZA0-000 Battery Setting Plate is a genuine OEM component designed for EB10000, EB11000, and ES6500 generators, GX620, GX630, GX660, and GX690 horizontal shaft engines, and the H5518 multi-purpose tractor. As a direct Honda OEM part, it is manufactured to the same standards as the original and replaces the factory plate without alteration. If your machine falls within the listed models, confirm your unit's serial number against the fitment table to ensure part 31512-ZA0-000 is the correct application for your build.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM — sourced directly from Honda, this plate matches the original specification for correct battery retention across every covered model.
- Broad Fitment — fits EB10000, EB11000, and ES6500 generators, GX620, GX630, GX660, and GX690 horizontal shaft engines, and the H5518 multi-purpose tractor, including a wide production run across each platform.
- Verify by Serial Number — Honda supersedes parts at production breaks, so cross-check your machine's serial number against the fitment table before ordering to confirm part number 31512-ZA0-000 is correct for your unit.
- Secure Battery Retention — a properly functioning battery setting plate keeps the battery firmly positioned, preventing movement that can loosen terminals and interrupt electrical supply to the starting and charging circuits.
The Battery Setting Plate is a structural retaining component that clamps and holds the battery securely within its housing on the machine. It prevents the battery from shifting during operation and vibration, which protects the terminal connections and keeps the electrical system functioning reliably. When this plate is damaged, missing, or improperly fitted, the battery can move freely, stressing its terminals and increasing the risk of an interrupted power supply to the starter and onboard electrical circuits.
