The Honda 31127-Z33-000ZA Stator Cover (Mat Black) is a genuine OEM generator cover designed for Honda EB3800, EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EG4000, EM3800, EM4000, EM5000, and EM6500 generators. As a direct Honda OEM replacement, this cover is manufactured to the same specifications as the original, ensuring a correct fit across all listed models. Verify your generator's model number against the fitment table before ordering, as Honda updates part configurations across production runs. The mat black finish matches the original factory appearance, restoring the generator's exterior to its proper condition.
Key Features
- Genuine Honda OEM Part — sourced directly from Honda, this cover meets the original design intent for fit and form across all compatible generator models.
- Correct Color Match — the mat black finish replicates the original factory appearance, so the repaired generator looks as it should when the job is done.
- Broad Generator Compatibility — fits Honda EB3800, EB4000, EB5000, EB6500, EG4000, EM3800, EM4000, EM5000, and EM6500 generators, including both the EB and EM series commercial units.
- Check Your Serial Number — Honda supersedes parts at production breaks, so confirm your generator's serial number against the fitment table to ensure part number 31127-Z33-000ZA is correct for your unit.
The stator cover is a protective outer housing that encloses the stator assembly — the stationary winding inside the generator's alternator that produces electrical output as the rotor spins around it. By shielding the stator from contaminants, mechanical contact, and physical damage, the cover helps maintain the integrity of the generator's electrical components and contributes to consistent power output. A cracked, broken, or missing cover exposes the stator windings to debris and moisture, which can lead to electrical faults and compromised generator performance.
